Now only you and your companions can uncover the rogue god's machinations as he tramples over the Deadfire Archipelago. Best of luck out there on the open seas and be sure to search Twinfinite for more PoE 2 guides. The god Eothas awakened from his sleep, erupting from beneath your castle, killing your people and stealing a piece of your soul. That does it for how to give and get water and food to your crew members in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire. Drag any food and water you want your crew to have access to from there to where it says food (and water) right above it. You’ll see your inventory of ship equipment and cargo. To do that, visit your ship management screen by pressing H or clicking the ship icon on the bottom middle of the screen. However, simply buying food and water isn’t enough and you need to make sure that it is actually in the inventory of the ship in order for your crew to be able to consume it. In the early game you might need to keep a tight budget, but when you have money to spend, consider getting the more expensive food and water items instead. Instead of water, you can buy something like ale which will also keep them hydrated (and drunk) but raise their morale instead. The cheaper options, like water and rice, will get the job done and keep your crew alive as your travel across the sea, but over time, it will lower their morale slightly which will need to be raised by something else eventually or they may revolt. Also, certain shops in towns and cities will have resupply items as well. You’ll see an option to resupply, and from there you can select from various food and drinks that can be offered to your crew. To get more food and water supplies in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, travel to any city. To keep your crew properly hydrated and fed, the first thing you need to do is keep your supply stocked. When you’re trying to pursue a rogue god, the last thing you need is your helmsman giving you a hard time about not having enough ale. Traveling without any food or water will eventually cause your crew’s morale to lower to the point where they will either die or rise up and start a mutiny against you. When sailing out in the open seas of the Deadfire Archipelago, you’ll need to keep your crew in high spirits and healthy or things will quickly go south for you.
